Welcome to the EPSRC UK National Crystallography Service

The Service is an amalgamation of resources at two centres; laboratory-based facilities in the Chemical Crystallography Laboratory at the School of Chemistry, University of Southampton, together with provision of a synchrotron-based facility on station I19 at the Diamond Light Source.

This website is hosted by the Southampton Service, which provides the overall administrative resource, and is the first point of call for information and access to the joint service. Additional information on the synchrotron based service may be found here

These pages provide a description of the Joint Service and the world leading facilities available, together with information on how to request access. We hope the information given will be useful and cordially invite comments and suggestions for improvements and additions.
